Who we are
Welcome to North Bosent Farm.
Owned and run by farmer Francis and his wife Enid, North Bosent Farm is a place where sustainability, animal welfare and a love of the countryside come together. What began as a run-down farmhouse purchased in 2020 has been transformed into a thriving, carbon-negative farm that's as welcoming to visitors as it is to wildlife.
Since taking on the farm, Francis and Enid have undertaken an extensive renovation of both the farmhouse and the land, placing sustainability at the heart of every decision. With solar panels generating renewable energy and a borehole providing the farm's water supply, North Bosent Farm is proud to operate as a carbon-negative farm, demonstrating that modern farming and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
The farm's beautiful orchard produces the apples used to make our own North Bosent Farm finest quality, small batch, artisan cider, hand crafted with love, care and available to purchase directly from the farm.
Visitors can enjoy a range of unique countryside experiences. Spend time with our friendly herd of eight alpacas on an unforgettable alpaca experience, meet our four curious Pygmy goats and Betty, their loyal sheep companion, enjoy a fun barrel ride around the farm, or let your four-legged friend explore our secure dog walking field.
No farm would be complete without a dog, and ours is Lottie—our much-loved part-time resident farm dog. You'll often find her keeping an eye on the animals, greeting visitors, or enjoying life around the farm whenever she's on duty.
Through Francis on the Farm, Francis and Enid share the everyday realities of life on the farm—the hard work, the memorable moments, and the continual journey towards a more sustainable future. Their passion is creating a place where people of all ages can connect with nature and make lasting memories.
Whether you're visiting for an alpaca experience, a countryside walk with your dog, a bottle of our cider, or simply to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, you'll always receive a warm Cornish welcome at North Bosent Farm.
